    Please look at https://retrorable.wordpress.com/2014/04/20/opel-rekord-a-2/, which seems to me to be a Rekord A, but front/rear/side lights all changed, even in position, and they seem somewhat adequate for size. Has there been any series with a made like this one?

      Ya, I posted that one before (http://opel-rekord-a-b.blogspot.pt/2014/01/opel-rekord-in-romania_10.html).
      It's really difficult to find spare parts like the lenses in places like Romania, so they just adapt what they can find. If you look at the archive here, half the cars from Romania have modified side markers and tail lights.
