Johnny's 1966 Opel Rekord B Coupe 2.6

"This is Johnny's 1966 Opel Rekord B Coupe 2.6. The engine is the old 6-cylindered 2600, the same engine as in the Rekord A and Kapitän P & PL. Unfortunately I do not have a picture of the enginebay although this is the most interesting about the car, but it is still a beautifull car to behold. The Rekord B was originally build to be produced with a 4-cylinder CIH engine and therefore there's not much room with the 6-cylinder engine. The radiator is also quite small and these 6-cylindered Rekords weren't that good to pull loads and warm days because of this. And furthermore the topspeed was only 5 km/h more than that of the 1.9 4-cylinder Rekord's, and the 2.6 engine only had 10 HP more than the 1.9.Originally this car was white with red interior. I've been told that as much as 17 Rekord B 2.6 were sold in Denmark, although the car was only produces in 1966. No more than 298.312 normal Rekord B's were produced and worldwide only 3.705 2.6 Rekord B's! They're quite rare these days."
